5th International Congress for Port Security, May 18 and 19, 2022, in La Coruña, Spain.
It is with great pleasure that I will participate in the 5th International Congress for Port Security.
This congress brings together various actors in port security and allows reflection on the necessary evolutions in the face of increasing risks and crisis management.
Intervention by Lilian CHAVANON on May 18, in La Coruña, Spain
I am deeply grateful to Mr. ANDRES PEDREIRA FERREÑO for inviting me to participate in the context of my activities related to the Security for the Transport of Dangerous Goods
The 5th International Congress on Port Security will focus on the following themes:
- Coordination between intervention groups in the context of port fires
- Case studies
- Port and maritime security
- Renewable energy installations and energy vectors in port areas
- Exercise in the Port of La Coruña: Land-sea response to a gas leak occurring during the transfer operations from a truck to a ship.
I will have the pleasure of speaking on the topic of "Port and Maritime Security"
My intervention will focus on accidentology and risks related to lithium batteries.
Intervention on May 18 on the challenges related to lithium in multimodal security
These challenges related to lithium, widely underestimated until now, now concern the entire Supply Chain, through multimodal flows, as well as industrial, port, or airport installations.
The numerous accidents now urge all actors (industrialists, insurers, users, logistics providers, ...) to rethink their processes related to lithium batteries.
CHAVANON Conseil, active in securing lithium battery flows
CHAVANON Conseil participates in securing the flows of lithium batteries, by establishing good practice guides adapted to companies and various configurations.
This approach allows to reflect with different organizations on the real issues and technical or organizational solutions to limit the risk, whether during manufacturing, use, charging, or transport operations
